5 Mar 2010The Nixie cube is back ! This one is built using a professionally made pc board for the top board , bottom board is still point to point wired . It is built inside of a baseball display case , 3″ x 3″ x 3″ . It ‘morphs ‘ or ‘fades ‘ the numbers as they change which kind of looks like a ‘melting’ affect. It is homemade as always and many of the parts are recycled from old electronics . It has 12 / 24 hour modes , user selectable . It has an autodetect which will automatically detect 50 or 60 HZ and set itself accordingly . It runs on standard U.S. service ( 110-120 VAC ) , so no adapter needed if you’re in the U.S. The time set buttons are on the side . It’s fused for safety , but you buy and use it at your own risk. International bidders , please send your address for a quote on shipping. I will ship it anywhere in the world , but I cannot be responsible for problems shipping to other countries due to customs delays or restrictions. Outside the U.S , you may need an adapter , depending on your countries’ service , check w/ me for recommendation. To see a short video of it click here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFMZnpGNSCI
